Description
The Sauvignon Blanc of the St. Michael-Eppan winery was born in South Tyrol and belongs to the "The Wine Collection" line. The grapes come from selected plots of the "Appiano Monte" area.
The pure Sauvignon Blanc grapes are cold macerated for 3 days, and then softly pressed. Vinification takes place in barriques and tonneaux. Finally the wine is aged in steel tanks for 18 months.
Straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals aromas of exotic fruit, gooseberry, white peach and elderberry. The sip is intense and elegant, with vibrant acidity.
Excellent with seafood, it also goes well with risottos and white meats.
