Description
Sauvignon Pepi is a great classic by Tramin. It originates in the South Tyrolean area of Termeno and is enriched by the flavor of its rocky soils.
It comes from several vineyards located on two hills on opposite sides, with an altitude varying between 450 and 550 meters. The grapes, subject to sun exposure and different thermal conditions, are harvested at different times and transported to the cellar. Here, after destemming and pressing, the grapes ferment in steel containers. An aging of 8 months in oak barrels, in contact with its yeasts, makes the wine ready for bottling.
Straw yellow, opens its bouquet with notes of mango and peach, elder flowers and nettle leaves. The sip is fresh and savory, persistent in its aromatic fruit memory.
To be combined with a plate of Spatzle.
