Description
Pinot Noir Mimuèt Riserva was born in the South Tyrolean vineyards of the famous Alois Lageder company.
This wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and carefully selected towards the end of September. After a soft pressing of the grapes, the must ferments spontaneously for about 15 days and ferments in steel. Maturation follows 12 months, half in steel and half in small 225 L wooden barrels. The final phase involves aging in the bottle to stabilize all the organoleptic characteristics.
It has a medium thickness garnet red color with soft ruby reflections. The scent is characterized by fruity flavors of black cherry, well followed by spicy and mineral notes. In the mouth it shows a young and vigorous flavor, with a balanced body and a fresh aftertaste with good final persistence.
To be consumed in the first 5 years after being put on the market, this Pinot Noir goes very well with white meat dishes, duck, game and delicate cheeses.
