Description

Hofstätter's Alto Adige Pinot Nero Meczan stands on the gentle hills of Mazzon, in the province of Bolzano.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After partial destemming, fermentation takes place in barrels for about 10 days, during which the must remains in direct contact with the skins.

Pinot Nero Meczan has an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet opens with exuberant notes of small berries and cherries. On the palate it is rich and smooth, fine and balanced.

It is the perfect accompaniment for game birds and roast meat, as well as first courses with meat sauce.
