Description
Franz Haas' Pinot Grigio Alto Adige comes from vines grown on land located between 350 and 800 meters above sea level. These vineyards, characterized by deep and fertile soils with a good presence of clay and silt, benefit from an ideal microclimate thanks to their exposure to the south and south-west. The particular pedo-climatic combination gives the wine unique quality and complexity.
Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature mainly in steel tanks, with a small part in barriques. After fermentation, the wine matures on the yeasts for approximately four months, in order to enrich its aromatic profile, followed by a period of refinement in the bottle which further enhances its qualities.
Visually, it presents an intense straw yellow shade. On the nose, it stands out for a rich floral bouquet that recalls the flowering of acacia, sage, hay, almonds, and sandalwood. These aromas are intertwined with notes of lime blossom and honey, which emerge after adequate refinement in the bottle, creating a highly fascinating aromatic ensemble. On the palate, the wine conquers with its finesse, elegance and freshness, revealing a harmonious and pleasantly persistent structure.
Ideal for pasta, rice and cereal dishes, vegetable dishes and grilled white meats, preferably without heavy seasonings. Its elegance makes it a gastronomic companion capable of enhancing and accompanying these meals with a touch of refinement.
