Description

Hofstätter's Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Joseph was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Egna, in the province of Bolzano.

It is produced with pure Gewürztraminer grapes, harvested only by hand. After a light pressing of the bunches and brief maceration on the skins, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.

It has an intense and bright straw yellow color. The nose opens with a pleasantly aromatic bouquet, with hints between spicy and smoked, enriched with notes of dried flowers and roses which tend to become more concentrated. On the palate it is dense and broad, with great freshness and liveliness.

Excellent aperitif, it goes very well with shellfish, with blue cheeses like Gorgonzola and with all the typical dishes of Asian cuisine. It expresses its potential to the maximum after at least 1 year of aging, in which it will have had time to refine its aromatic component to the maximum.
