Description
Ritterhof Cabernet-Merlot Ramus grows at the foot of the Renon plateau, from steep, poor and rocky areas with clayey and sandy soils of profidic origin that benefit from a favorable southern exposure.
The grapes are crushed and then fermented which lasts for 10 days at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. The maceration in contact with the skins allows to extract the best components of color and aromas for the final wine. The aging takes place for 15 months in French oak barriques followed by a further 6 months of aging in bottle.
ruby red. The nose is fascinating and complex, with notes of berries, red currants and spices that are found in a concentrated and intense, rich and robust palate.
It goes perfectly with tasty fish-based recipes, mature cheeses and grilled red meats.
