Description
Alois Lageder's Alto Adige Chardonnay Löwengang comes from organic and biodynamic vineyards located on the estate of the same name, located in the municipality of Magrè on the Wine Route, in the province of Bolzano.
It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in French oak barrels. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees for 11 months, before being bottled.
It has a bright golden yellow color, with greenish reflections. The nose opens with an aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe peach, candied cedar and chamomile, enriched with hints of vanilla and smoked. On the palate it is full and elegant, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany poultry and shellfish, this wine is ideal in combination with all fish dishes.
