Description

The Südtirol Chardonnay of the Lafóa di Colterenzio line comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Cornaiano, in the province of Bolzano.

It is obtained exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in partly new barriques at controlled temperatures. After the malolactic fermentation in wood, the wine ages on the lees for about 10 months and in the bottle for the next 6 months.

Chardonnay has a very strong straw yellow color. The nose opens with intense fruity aromas of walnuts, mango and melon, with a light note of wood. It is harmonious and soft on the palate, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.

Perfect in combination with first courses of Mediterranean cuisine, this Chardonnay is ideal to accompany grilled fish, shellfish and white meats.
