Description

The Gschleier Alte Reben Vernatsch comes from one of the most renowned viticultural areas of South Tyrol, with vineyards aged between 80 and 110 years. These vineyards are located at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, on limestone, clay and gravelly soils.

The harvest takes place manually in small containers to preserve the integrity of the grapes during transport to the cellar. After destemming, the must is transferred by gravity into stainless steel vats, where fermentation takes place for 15-20 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 9 months in large oak barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle.

This Vernatsch (Schiava) stands out for its elegance and body, with fruity tannins and a wonderful flavor. The unique character of the wine makes it particularly harmonious and with exceptional aging potential, offering a refined and persistent tasting experience.

Due to its characteristics, this wine simply pairs with South Tyrolean "good cuisine".
