Description
Indra Sauvignon is produced on the Girlan hills, located at an altitude of 400-500 meters and close to the Eastern Alps. The grapes grow on glacial moraine soils and are harvested at the moment of optimal ripeness. This production area gives Sauvignon its intense and characteristic aroma.
The harvest is carried out manually in small containers. After a short maceration and whole bunch pressing, the must is racked by natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats, followed by aging on fine yeasts in stainless steel tanks for six months, without malolactic fermentation.
This Sauvignon has an intense aroma of nettle and elderberry, with a freshness and liveliness in the mouth typical of the vine. The long tradition of cultivation in Alto Adige is reflected in the strong character of the wine, making it ideal for an aperitif or for moments of tasting.
It pairs perfectly with fish, seafood and asparagus-based dishes, offering a harmonious combination of flavours.
