Description
Castelfeder's Pinot Noir Riserva Burgum Novum is a wine that expresses the authenticity and roots of the Alto Adige territory. The name comes from the Latin "Neumarkt", the village where the winery is located. This Pinot Noir grows on clayey soils rich in minerals.
The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by an 18-month maturation in barrique, during which the malolactic fermentation takes place. Subsequently, the wine ages for 12 months in steel and a further 6 months in the bottle.
This wine has a ruby red color tending towards garnet. On the nose it offers a broad and fruity aroma, with notes reminiscent of blackberries, raspberries and chocolate. In the mouth, Burgum Novum stands out for its balance and complexity, with a long and enveloping finish.
Pinot Noir Riserva Burgum Novum pairs perfectly with red meats, game and mature cheeses.
