Description
Vigna Ganger Pinot Noir Riserva is produced with selected Pinot Noir grapes grown in the monopole Ganger vineyard, located in Mazzon at an altitude of 360-380 meters above sea level
The harvest takes place manually in mid-September and the grapes are collected in small containers. A fifth of the grapes are vinified as a whole bunch and transferred by gravity into stainless steel vats for a 25-day fermentation. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 20 months in barrique, followed by further refinement in the bottle for 18 months.
The wine has an intense ruby red color with aromas of ripe fruit, cherry, morello cherry, berries such as raspberry and a light note of marzipan. On the palate it is elegant and refined, very persistent, with good acidity and flavor, excellent structure and soft and balanced tannins.
It pairs perfectly with second courses based on red meat, roasts and game, offering a harmonious combination of flavours.
