Description
Platt & Riegl Pinot Bianco is produced with the best grapes of the Pinot Bianco vine grown in the Oltradige at an altitude of 450-550 meters above sea level
The harvest is carried out manually in small containers. After soft pressing of whole bunches, the must is racked by natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place for 50% of the must at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats and for the other 50% in large 50 hl oak barrels. This is followed by malolactic fermentation for the wooden part and refinement on fine yeasts for six months.
Pinot Blanc is characterized by compact bunches and small greenish berries. The wine has a delicate and fresh, but at the same time full, character, which reflects the winemaking tradition of the Girlan area. It is appreciated for its versatility and freshness, making it ideal for numerous occasions.
It pairs perfectly with appetizers and fish dishes, and is much appreciated as an aperitif, offering a harmonious combination of flavors.
