Description
Tenuta Castel Sallegg's Moscato Giallo is born near Lake Caldaro, in Alto Adige, where the microclimate and soil give the wine a pleasant fruity roundness. The rigid night temperatures enhance the lively acidity of the Moscato Giallo grapes, while the sun exposure favors the development of an aromatic and spicy character, making it a fresh and dynamic wine.
The grapes are harvested by hand and after a short cold maceration they are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by a period of aging on the fine lees to enrich the structure of the wine.
On the nose, aromatic notes of ripe peach, orange blossom and nutmeg are perceived. In the mouth, the wine is fruity, with a pleasant acidic crispness and an intense and persistent finish, which leaves a sensation of freshness and vivacity.
This white wine pairs perfectly with Asian dishes, savoury appetizers, smoked fish and baked desserts.
