Description

The Lagrein of the Graf line is a native red wine from Alto Adige produced by Cantina Merano, using Lagrein grapes grown in the vineyards of Cermes, Lagundo, Lana and Merano, located at an altitude of between 300 and 400 meters. The vines, aged between 10 and 25 years, grow on sandy and clayey soils enriched with humus, characterized by good permeability and of morainic origin.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for about 10-15 days. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages in used tonneaux and barriques, developing its aromatic richness and structural complexity.

It has a dark garnet red color and a bouquet rich in aromas of violet, cherry and dark chocolate. On the palate it is harmonious and delicate, with well-structured tannins and a persistent finish, revealing a balance between intensity and finesse.

It pairs ideally with game, red meats and mature cheeses, offering a full and satisfying food and wine experience.
