Description

Kerner Lahn is an aromatic wine from the Castelfeder winery, which comes from vineyards located at almost 900 meters above sea level in Alto Adige. The vineyards offer deep and heavy soil, predominantly silty and clayey with several parts of sand.

Production begins with a manual harvest, followed by a soft pressing of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel, while the refinement on the lees lasts 6 months, giving the wine a complex structure and a refined aromatic profile.

On the nose, Kerner Lahn presents itself with a straw yellow color enriched by greenish reflections and releases a bouquet of aromas that recall apple and banana. On the palate it reveals a juicy structure and a complexity balanced by a well-integrated acid structure and fresh elegance.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with light first courses and summer dishes.
