Description
The Kerner of the Graf line is a white wine produced by Cantina Merano using Kerner grapes grown in the areas of Labers, Marlengo and Tirolo, located at an altitude of between 500 and 650 meters. This vine, the result of a cross between Schiava and Riesling, is distinguished by its resistance to frost and adapts perfectly to sandy, clayey and humus-rich soils of moraine origin.
The vinification involves a 12-hour cold maceration followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages on the lees for about five months, a process that enriches its structure and complexity, enhancing the varietal characteristics of Kerner.
The color is straw yellow with green reflections, while the bouquet offers a delicate scent with notes of peaches and muscat. On the palate it is rich, intense and persistent, with a perfect balance between minerality and lively acidity.
It pairs ideally with rich appetizers, grilled fish and vegetable terrines, enhancing the flavors with its freshness and elegant structure.
