Description

The Gewürztraminer of the "Graf" line is an aromatic white wine from the Cantina Merano, produced exclusively with Traminer Aromatico grapes grown in the areas of Labers, Lagundo, Lana and Tirolo, at an altitude of between 400 and 500 meters. The vineyards, characterized by light, permeable and moraine hilly soils with a high percentage of gravel, allow the grapes to best express their aromatic potential and the typicality of the Alto Adige territory.

The vinification involves a cold maceration of 12 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Then the wine ages on the lees for 6 months, developing a complex and refined aromatic profile that characterizes this label of the Graf line.

It has a lively straw yellow color with musky reflections. On the nose, the bouquet offers intense floral aromas with notes of rose petals, mint and lemon balm, while on the palate it stands out for its harmonious freshness, a soft body and a persistent and balanced aftertaste.

It is perfect as an aperitif and pairs well with Asian recipes and shellfish.
