Description
Girlan's Flora Gewürztraminer comes partly from the "Girlan" sub-area on the Oltradige hills at a height of 450-500 m above sea level, and partly from Bassa Atesina - Cortaccia. The combination of production soils, from gravelly to clayey and rich in minerals, gives this wine a unique character.
The harvest takes place manually in small containers for transport to the cellar. After a brief maceration and whole bunch pressing, racking takes place through natural sedimentation of the must. Controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel vats. Aging on fine yeasts in stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation for 8 months.
The wine has an intense and aromatic aroma, with a full and soft character. It requires dishes with a strong flavor to best express itself.
Recommended in combination with shellfish, tasty cheeses and desserts such as strudel.
