Description

The Blauburgunder of the Graf line is a red wine of great elegance produced by the Cantina Merano using selected Pinot Noir grapes from the vineyards of Cermes, Labers, Merano and Tirolo, located at an altitude of between 500 and 600 meters. The vines, with an age of between 10 and 30 years, grow on sandy and clayey soils, enriched with humus, granite and gneiss, typical of moraine areas.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in wide-mouthed vats at controlled temperatures, with the must moving for about 10-15 days. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages in small oak barrels and used barriques, developing a refined and complex structure.

Of an intense ruby red color, it offers an elegant and precise bouquet, with hints of wild berries and red berries. In the mouth it is soft and succulent, with velvety tannins and a good persistence, revealing a harmonious balance between freshness and depth.

It pairs perfectly with red meats, traditional South Tyrolean dishes and cheeses, enhancing every flavour with delicacy and balance.
