Description
The Riesling Steinbock Mosel by Dr. Fischer is born in the renowned Mosel region of Germany, a prime area for this noble grape variety. Here, the combination of slate-rich soils and a cool climate favors the production of wines with high aromatic finesse and pronounced minerality. Thanks to the collaboration between Martin Foradori Hofstätter and Nik Weis, this Riesling authentically interprets the terroir, offering a pure and crystalline expression of the variety.
The grapes come from some of the best cru of the Mosel and are harvested with great care to preserve their freshness and integrity. The vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, keeping intact the typical fruity and floral aromas of Riesling. Aging on fine lees for an adequate period contributes to giving structure and depth to the wine, enhancing its dry and mineral character.
In the glass, it presents a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, it expresses itself with intensity, revealing a complex bouquet that ranges from exotic fruits like mango and pineapple to citrus and white flowers, with a touch of minerality that highlights its elegance. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with a perfect balance between acidity and body, smooth and harmonious, leaving a pleasant fruity persistence.
Ideal when paired with fish dishes, sushi, risottos, and light appetizers, enhancing the flavors with its vibrant freshness.
