Description
Star of Bombay is made from a perfect balance of 12 aromatic herbs and owes its particular and intense aroma to the two new hand-picked aromatic herbs, Ambrette Seeds and Bergamot, selected for their exceptional quality which guarantees fragrant citrus notes , floral and mossy. Ambrette seeds originate from Ecuador and provide a slightly spicy floral muskiness. The Calabrian bergamot, on the other hand, comes from perfumery and is commonly known as the Calabrian green gold. The distillation process, like all Bombay Gin, is carried out in the characteristic stills. The slow distillation provides a softer and smoother spirit with a full-bodied aftertaste on the palate. The bottle is inspired by the Star of Bombay jewel, a unique sapphire in the world guarded by actress Mary Pickford, with an elegant and subtle shape.
With a transparent and crystalline appearance, it is distinguished by slight hints of citrus and angelica. In the mouth it is elegant and balanced, with a pleasantly sweet and persistent finish.
Perfect to always enjoy, even straight and on the rocks. Also try the Bombay Dry Martini: in a mixing glass previously filled with ice and cooled, pour Gin Star of Bombay and Martini Extra Dry; mix and serve by straining into a very cold martini glass, adding lemon zest or an olive to taste.
