Description

Shiraz is nothing more than the name attributed to Syrah in South Africa. The version signed by the Cape Dreams winery is produced 140 km from Cape Town, in the Robertson valley, at an altitude of between 350 and 400 meters.

The grapes that make up this wine, 100% Shiraz, are harvested manually and selected with great care. Only the best bunches will arrive in the cellar to be lightly pressed, macerated and fermented. The vinification ends with a moderate maturation period in steel which will allow the wine to fine-tune its balance.

At sight, its color is intense in the ruby red hue. Equally intense is the nose, developed in a texture of violet, cherry, strawberry candy and a slight peppery recall in the background. In the mouth it evolves along the development of the sip, without ever giving in to the fresh component and the structure one. A good persistence accompanies it for long seconds.

To be combined with a grilled roast beef steak.
