Description

Cape Dreams Chardonnay originates in the Roberstone valley, 140 km from Cape Town, South Africa. Here, cold winters and hot summers define a climate capable of generating aromatic and fresh whites. This is also due to the breeze blowing from the southeast, which is the first effective remedy against the risk of parasitic vine diseases.

The harvest of the Chardonnay grapes takes place at the first light of dawn. After being selected and harvested, the bunches are transported to the cellar where they are de-stemmed, pressed and fermented in steel tanks. The wine obtained ages in the same containers in the presence of its own fine lees.

It has an intense straw yellow color. The nose stands out notes reminiscent of peach, pineapple and mango, on a slightly citrus background. In the mouth the mineral imprint reigns, which binds in a balanced way to the structure. It persists in the furrow of a ripe tropical fruit.

To be combined with a risotto alla marinara.
