Description

This Sebastiani Zinfandel originates in Sonoma County from vineyards located in the Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley.

The wine is mainly composed of Zinfandel with a small addition of Petit Syrah. Once in the cellar, the grapes are refrigerated for 3 days, before being de-stemmed and squeezed in thermo-regulated steel tanks. Subsequently the wine is clarified and partly aged for 2 years in American, French and Hungarian oak barrels.

Intense ruby red color, the nose reveals aromas of black figs, plums and strawberry jam, as well as spicy and vanilla notes. On the palate it is warm and moderately structured, with fine tannins and a vanilla finish.

Ideal wine for grilled and roasted meats.
