Description

The Slow Chenin Blanc of the False Bay winery is made with 100% Chenin Blanc grapes in the Stellenbosch area within the South African Coastal Region.

A few kilometers from the sea and therefore affected by the oceanic climate, the grapes undergo the effects of the night breezes for an ideal phenolic development. After the harvest carried out strictly by hand in the early hours of the morning, we proceed with the de-stemming and fermentation takes place naturally for 8 weeks. The wine obtained remains in contact with the lees for 5 months before being filtered and bottled.

Straw yellow in color, it has aromas of lime, anise, wild fennel, wild herbs. On the palate it is fresh and mineral, with a nice herbaceous note to make the sip vibrant and persistent.

Ideal with herb and shellfish risotto and for roast chicken.
