Description
Yellow Spot is an Irish whiskey pot still inspired by the practice of the Mitchell family to mark with a touch of paint to indicate the aging potential of each distillate. The yellow brush stroke corresponds to a whiskey aged 12 years. Aging takes place in 3 different barrels: one of ex-Bourbon American white oak, one ex-Sherry and one ex-Málaga. The barrels previously used to refine the Málaga wine deeply influence this whiskey giving sweet and exotic aromas that make tasting it an unparalleled experience.
The color is golden yellow tending to amber. The nose shows captivating aromas of black tea, cooked apple and pine. The persuasive mouth plays on hints of apple and exotic spices for a sophisticated, heavenly and sensual result.
To better appreciate its complex aromatic qualities, we recommend a smooth consumption.
