Description

The Hakushu is a refined Japanese single malt whisky, produced by the historic Suntory distillery. Located in the heart of the Japanese mountains, this whisky embodies the purity of the surrounding nature, thanks to the careful selection of peated and lightly peated malts. It is an expression of Japanese craftsmanship, where tradition meets innovation to create a classy spirit.

The aging process takes place in different barrels, selected by Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo. The combination of young and older whiskies helps to create a unique aromatic complexity, while maintaining the elegance typical of Japanese single malts. The use of barrels with different characteristics allows to obtain a harmonious whisky, without indication of age, but perfectly balanced.

The nose reveals a delicate and fresh bouquet, with notes of peppermint, melon and cucumber. On the palate it stands out for its creamy texture, enriched with accents of yuzu, grapefruit and lemon thyme. The finish is pleasantly refreshing, with a light touch of smokiness that completes the experience.

Perfect to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
