Description
The Sicilia Rosso del Soprano by Palari was born in vineyards located in S. Stefano Briga, on the gentle hills overlooking the Strait of Messina, in the heart of Sicily.
It is produced 50% with Nerello Mascalese grapes, 30% with Nerello Cappuccio grapes, 10% with Nocera grapes and 10% with Galatena grapes. The wine ages in barrique for 6 months before being bottled. This wine, produced from grapes of native Sicilian vines, expresses the legendary aromas and flavours of the Strait of Messina.
It is a wine characterized by an intense ruby red colour. The nose opens with a fruity bouquet, with hints of berries, enriched with pleasant notes of jam. On the palate it is pleasantly enveloping, with a full body and a fruity persistence.
Perfect to accompany meat and roast meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes and aged cheeses.
