Description

This Grillo belongs to the Costadune di Mandrarossa line, authentic expressions of Sicilian enology that see one of the most representative and appreciated white grape varieties as the protagonist. The vineyards from which it originates are located in Menfi and are characterized by a south and south-east exposure and by sandy and limestone soils.

The grapes are harvested during the first week of September. After undergoing a short cold maceration, the must ferments for 15-20 days at a temperature maintained between 16 and 18 ° C. Aging for 4 months in steel tanks follows.

In the glass it has a straw yellow color with greenish hues. The bouquet expresses intense and vibrant aromas of prickly pear, medlar and grapefruit, on elegant notes of basil. In the mouth it is fresh, intense and pleasant.

It goes well with grilled vegetables and roasted fish, it is excellent with seafood.
