Description
This Grecanico Dorato belongs to the Costadune di Mandrarossa line, pure and authentic expressions of the Sicilian territory recalled in the aromas and defined in the taste. Born in Menfi, from vineyards with south and south-east exposure that grow on soils of a predominantly calcareous nature.
It is produced with hand-picked grapes in the third week of September. The clusters undergo a short cold maceration and then carry out alcoholic fermentation for 15-20 days at a temperature of 16-18 ° C. The wine remains to mature for 4 months in steel tanks.
It presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, with intense aromas of orange blossom, cedar and lemon, embellished with slight hints of thyme. In the mouth it is pleasantly fresh and savory.
Excellent with fish-based appetizers, shellfish and vegetable-based recipes.
