Description
Urra di Mare is a wine that embodies a new expression of Sauvignon whose essence is affected by the sea breezes of the coasts of Menfi. The vineyards with south and south-west exposure are located on medium-textured clayey soils.
The harvest takes place during the second week of August. A short cold maceration is carried out, after which the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in steel tanks for 4 months.
It manifests itself to the eye with a tone that recalls a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The olfactory spectrum is organized around aromas of citrus, peach and apricot, on a bed of hints of mint and basil. On the palate it is mineral, harmonious and fresh, with a persistent finish.
Ideal to combine with oysters and grilled fish, it is perfect with a seafood dish.
