Description

Nadir wine is born in the selected vineyards of Tenuta Rapitalà, located about 450 meters above sea level, in the province of Palermo. The name recalls the Arabic Nazir, which means deep, rare, precious.

It is made entirely from Syrah grapes, harvested in mid-September at the right point of ripeness. After a cold premaceration of about 3 days, the wine remains on the skins at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C. This is to enhance the quality of the aromas and soften the aggressiveness of the tannins. After a rapid passage of part of the product in Allier oak barriques, for malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel for about 12 months. Bottling and aging in glass follows.

It has an intense ruby red color, with purple reflections. The nose carries intense aromas of ripe fruit and spices, typical of the Syrah grape, with delicate and pleasant aromas of vanilla in the background. In the mouth it is full, delicate and with elegant and sweet tannins.

It goes very well with red meats, game and roasted meats.
