Description
Nuhar was born in the selected vineyards of Tenuta Ripatalà, located about 600 meters above sea level, in the province of Palermo.
This wine is mainly made from Nero d'Avola and Pinot Nero grapes, harvested respectively at the end of September and at the end of October. The vinification takes place separately in small steel containers, where a long maceration also takes place. The two wines are aged in oak barrels, Pinot Noir, and in steel tanks, Nero d'Avola, for about 9 months. Finally, this is followed by blending, bottling and aging in glass.
It has a lively ruby red colour. The nose opens with aromas of dried fruit and fruit in syrup, showing finesse and elegance. On the palate it is full, warm and has well-balanced tannins with the structure. The finish is Pinot Noir-style, with a long persistence in which the classic aromas of the vine awaken.
It goes well with important dishes based on game, roast meats and truffles.
