Description
The Perricone Guarnaccio red wine comes to light in the vineyards of the Regaleali estate of Tasca d'Almerita, located in the ancient County of Sclafani, in the province of Palermo. The name is the one with which the vine is called locally.
It is obtained exclusively from Perricone grapes, whose fermentation takes place traditionally in steel at a controlled temperature of 25-30°C for 13 days. The wine then ages in Allier and Troncais barriques for 12 months, before being bottled.
Appears ruby red. The nose offers aromas of cherry and plum together with delicate spicy notes. On the palate it is dry and elegant, closing on a fairly persistent finish.
Suitable to accompany legume soups, first and second courses based on meat.
