Description

The Noà di Cusumano was born in the vineyards of Tenuta Presti and Pegni, near Alcamo, in the province of Trapani.

Obtained with a skilful mix of local autochthonous and international grapes (Nero d'Avola, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon), harvested in the first ten days of September, this territorial wine ferments at controlled temperatures and then carries out malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. It then matures in the same containers for 12 months, then refines in glass for a short period, before being marketed.

It has a beautiful ruby red color with good intensity. The nose offers a complex perfume, where sensations of cherry and blackberry blend well, with notes of figs and sweet spices such as chocolate. In the mouth it is warm and enveloping, with a great general harmony, a faithful mirror of the earth from which it is born.

This wine can be tasted on the spot or can undergo a little aging up to 5 years. It goes well with well-seasoned red meats and highly seasoned cheeses.
