Description
This pure Nerello Mascalese is produced by Cantine Birgi, a social winery founded in 1960 in Marsala in the province of Trapani and today has approx. 1000 members.
Once in the cellar, the grapes are vinified in steel vats at a controlled temperature.
Ruby red in color, the nose reveals aromas of berries and spices. The taste is moderately structured, fresh and harmonious.
Excellent to accompany salami appetizers, pasta with meat sauce and cous cous with vegetables and beef.
