Description

Hugonis by Tenuta Rapitalà is a full-bodied red wine produced with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Nero d'Avola from the Camporeale vineyards, in the province of Palermo. Located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level and characterized by clayey soils, the vineyards benefit from a favorable north-south exposure.

The grapes are harvested when fully ripe and vinified separately in small stainless steel containers, with long macerations. At the end of fermentation, the Cabernet Sauvignon ages in French oak barriques, while the Nero d'Avola ages in oak barrels. After blending, the wine is further refined in the bottle to enhance its structure and aromatic complexity.

Deep red in color, it offers a complex bouquet with evident varietal notes. On the palate it has an important structure, with significant tannins and a long and persistent aftertaste, which confirm the elegance of the wine and suggest its aging potential.

Perfect when paired with red meats, mature cheeses and cured meats.
