Description
The Damarino sees the light in the vineyards of the Sicilian Donnafugata company, in the Contessa Entellina estates, in south-western Sicily. As shown by the label, born from the hand of an artist, this wine is lively and winking, with the aim of surprising and captivating aesthetically and character.
It is obtained from a blend of Ansonica grapes and other indigenous grapes, harvested between the second and third ten days of September. The wine, after a temperature-controlled fermentation in steel, ages in steel tanks before being bottled.
It is characterized by a very pale straw yellow color. The nose offers aromas of white-fleshed fruit and citrus, with floral notes of orange blossom and vegetable aromas of thyme and sage. In the mouth it shows a light, fresh and soft body.
It looks like a young wine to drink, perfect for an aperitif. It is also ideal with appetizers or seafood first courses and with boiled fish.
