Description
Catarratto Zacharia by Aaron Montis is a wine obtained from Catarratto Lucido grapes, grown at high altitude on the hills of San Giuseppe Jato, 700 meters above sea level, in Sicily. This unique mountain terroir helps create a wine of great aromatic intensity and character, which fully expresses the typicality of the Etna grape variety.
The vinification takes place in white with a delicate processing of the grapes, followed by an aging on the lees for at least six months in French oak barriques and tonneaux, which enriches the wine with a complex structure and elegant notes. After this period, the wine rests in the bottle for at least a year, ensuring optimal maturation and perfect balance.
In the glass it stands out for its elegant density and enveloping softness. On the palate, complex tertiary aromas emerge, with refined mineral nuances and light notes of hydrocarbons, which give the wine a sophisticated and persistent personality.
Ideal to accompany dishes based on white meats or semi-mature cheeses, with which it pairs perfectly, enhancing its roundness and complexity.
