Description
The Catarratto delle Tenute Orestiadi is an autochthonous variety white that comes to light from the white-ground hills of the Belice Valley, consisting mainly of limestone and chalk.
Fermentation takes place traditionally in white. The wine ages for 3 months in steel and for at least 4 months in bottle.
The color is bright yellow with greenish flashes. On the nose it fully expresses its Mediterranean character, with notes of white-fleshed fruit, peach, almond and orange blossom. The sip is elegant and fresh, pleasantly savory and balanced.
Excellent with shellfish fries and fish first courses. Stock up on oily or grilled prawns.
