Description

Firriato's Camelot Sicilia was born in the vineyards of the Baglio Sorìa estate, located in the Trapani municipality of Agro, in Sicily.

It is obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected only by hand respectively in the second and first ten days of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-27 ° C for 14 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 9 months in French oak barriques and for about 6 months in the bottle, before being marketed.

Intense ruby red in color, it opens to the nose with fragrant fruity aromas of raspberry, blueberries and wild strawberries, enriched with notes of cinnamon, eucalyptus and delicate spicy hints of cocoa. On the palate it is persuasive and soft, with an excellent structure and with soft and imposing tannins.

Perfect to accompany dishes based on grilled and roasted meats, this wine is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
