Description
Vigna di Gabri di Donnafugata was born on the Contessa Entellina estate, in the vineyard of the same name commissioned by Gabriella Rallo, founder of the company together with her husband Giacomo.
The wine is a blend of glossy Catarratto grapes, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier. The grapes are vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks. The wine obtained is aged for 6 months in French oak barriques and for at least 3 months in the bottle.
Straw yellow in color, the nose expresses aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, flowers and aromatic herbs. The sip is fresh and enveloping, with an elegant and persistent finish.
It goes well with seafood, omelettes and roasted fish.
