Description
This Sicily Grillo Superiore derives from clay soils rich in mineral substances and from vines over 35 years of age, located in the Gazzerotta family estate of Mazara del Vallo.
The grape harvest takes place in the first ten days of August, followed by vinification in the absence of oxygen, with soft pressing of the grapes and long fermentation at low temperatures. The wine ages for 4 months in steel.
Straw yellow in the glass with greenish flashes, it enchants the nose with fresh and floral aromas of rose, accompanied by notes of citrus and green apple. The sip is intense and savory, pleasantly citrusy.
It is the perfect wine to pair with rich fish dishes, both in the oven and on the grill, or in a saucepan.
