Description

Lustau's Sherry Pedro Ximénez Viña 25 was born in Jerez de la Frontera, in the province of Cadiz, in the heart of south-eastern Andalusia. The name of this wine derives from the name of the vineyard which extends over 25 acres.

It is produced exclusively with Pedro Ximénez grapes. The wine ages in oak barrels for 12 years. Sherry is the most famous wine in Spain: its origins date back to around 3,000 years. It is believed that the first to approach this wine were the Phoenicians or the Greeks. It is a unique and inimitable wine that represents the true essence of the terroir of origin.

It is characterized by a dark mahogany color, with amber reflections. The nose opens with a deep and sensual bouquet, with aromas of raisins, enriched with pleasant aromas of walnuts. On the palate it is full-bodied and pleasantly full, with a velvety and generous body. The wine has a delicate aftertaste and a great persistence. This wine is not overly sweet thanks to the aging in oak barrels.

Perfect to accompany dry sweets and pastries, it is ideal in combination with fruit salads.
