Description

Sfurzat di Valtellina Fruttaio Ca 'Rizzieri by Rainoldi is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Sondrio and Teglio.

Produced with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested only by hand in the first week of October; they are placed in boxes and dried naturally for about 2–3 months. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with continuous pumping over. Subsequently, the wine ages in barrique for 16–18 months.

It is characterized by a garnet red colour. The nose opens with a very intense bouquet, with hints of red fruits, cinchona and tobacco. On the palate it is rich, with very strong tannins and well flavoured with the fatness of the pulp.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
