Description

Tannat Classic by Família Salton is a dry red wine from the Campanha Gaúcha and Serra Gaúcha regions of Brazil. Made entirely from Tannat grapes, this wine represents one of the most typical and robust expressions of the grape variety, known for its intense and structured character.

The vinification involves destemming the grapes, followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with daily pumping over. After fermentation, the wine undergoes spontaneous clarification and racking, followed by malolactic fermentation. The process ends with centrifugation, stabilization and filtration before bottling, keeping the wine fresh and clean.

Bright ruby red in color, the nose perceives fresh and fruity aromas, with notes of redcurrant, plum and hints of menthol. On the palate it is fresh, with a balanced acidity and silky tannins that make it soft and pleasant, perfect for daily consumption.

It pairs beautifully with cheeses, pastas and red meats.
