Description
Sei Navy Strength Japanese gin is produced by Kyoto Distillery, born in 2016. It is the classic gin but bottled with a higher alcohol content.
The dry gins from Kyoto are produced with local botanicals and Fushimi water with a process called Konwa, which involves, in addition to the botanicals, an alcoholic base of rice.
The botanicals used are juniper, iris, Akamatsu, bamboo, red Shiso, ginger, pepper and Shanso leaves, Yuzu lemon and Gyokuro tea.
It is recommended to use it as a base for preparing the best gin-based cocktails. This gin was awarded in the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition) 2018 as the best for the preparation of the timeless gin and tonic.
