Description
Les Narbantons by Domaine Maurice Ecard comes from the northern part of the Côte de Beaune, from the vineyard of the same name which extends around the east-facing village of Savigny-Lès-Beaune.
The harvest of Pinot Noir grapes takes place exclusively by hand. The winemaking follows the classic processes, with fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in partially new oak barriques, with a well-balanced use of wood to give the right complexity without overpowering the fruit.
Garnet red in colour, it displays a bouquet of red fruits on the nose to which delicate floral notes are added. In the mouth it is round and voluminous, characterized by elegant notes of cherry.
Perfect in combination with roasts, grilled red meats and medium-aged cheeses.
